Sherle Brown, founder and president, was a former Senior VP and CFO for ECI Group, a highly respected industry leader. After 25 years in the industry serving roles in all areas of operations, training, human resources, finance and risk management, Sherle recognized the need for specialized services to assist businesses in this highly competitive and challenging industry. Sherle H. Brown – Founder and President Sherle H. Brown brings 25 years of commercial real estate experience to the SHB Consulting Services, Inc. team and has held leadership positions in all areas of the apartment business – finance, management, ownership, and operations. Prior to forming SHB Consulting Services in January 2005, Sherle served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of ECI Group, an integrated development, construction, brokerage, and management group that is nationally recognized for its innovations and knowledge in the multi-family industry. SHB specializes in the apartment business and is involved in every aspect of multi-family operations. Sherle is on the advisory board of Warshaw Properties, Inc. and is actively involved in the Atlanta Apartment Association, the Georgia Apartment Association, and the Institute of Real Estate Management. She is an Advanced Instructor Trainer on the faculty of the National Apartment Association Education Institute, a regular guest lecturer at the University of Georgia, and the financial consultant to the Georgia Apartment Industry Education Foundation. She is a subject matter expert for the Training Factor and has been a subject matter expert for the apartment industry to Georgia Perimeter College and the University of Georgia. Sherle is a summa cum laude graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Sherle has built a reputation for integrity and professionalism and is committed to serving the needs of the multi-family industry. Kimberly H. Poole - Account Manager Kimberly Poole began with SHB Consulting Services, Inc. at its foundation. Prior to joining SHB Consulting, Kimberly was the Human Resource Coordinator for a privately owned property management company where she conducted various Human Resource functions and projects. Her experience in Human Resources and customer service proved to be invaluable in SHB’s daily operations. Kimberly has been involved hands-on in all aspects of the business. She has successfully progressed through roles in Human Resources, Sales, Customer Service, and Administration and currently serves in SHB’s critical position of Account Manager. Kimberly is dedicated to helping others. She reaches out to each client, listening to their individual needs and helping them build value. Kimberly’s dedication and enthusiasm for her responsibilities goes beyond the office. She is currently active with various associations, both local and national, and volunteers on multiple committees. Kimberly graduated from the State University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a minor in Criminology. Her diverse background is a major contributor to SHB’s innovative solutions. Sabrina Church - PWI Consultant Sabrina Church owned and operated Peachtree Wallcovering, Inc. for 16 years. Acquiring the business at 18, she steadily grew the company from a debt-laden corporation, utilizing only two installers, into a dominating multi-family housing vendor with over 25 installers. Under her leadership, Peachtree Wallcovering became one of the largest wallpaper buyers in the entire southeast, second only to Sherwin Williams, servicing customers in 5 states. Within her first 6 years, sales rocketed to over 1 million dollars, with an average of 3,000 rolls of wallpaper installed every week. Branching out from Peachtree Wallcovering, Inc., Sabrina served as Rehabilitation and Quality Control Project Manager for Engineered Concepts, Inc. In addition to her impressive success with Peachtree Wallcovering, Sabrina has been a member of the Atlanta Apartment Association (AAA) since 1990. In addition to participating on several committees, she became the youngest member ever elected President of AAA’s Associate Council as well as the youngest sitting board member, to date. Sabrina also brings experience as AAA Chairwoman of Ambassadors and NAA delegate. Sabrina’s proven record of commitment, hard work and determination coupled with her exemplary approach to customer service, complement the superior services offered to our clients. Cary Krix - Marketing Consultant Cary E. Krix has served the property management industry since 1979. Cary - respected Consultant, Trainer, and Author - offers a wide perspective to solution based management and marketing practices. Starting as a Leasing Agent and working her way up through the ranks to VP of Operations for a leading real estate entity has provided Cary with a broad range of experience and knowledge of the multi-family industry. Cary has shared her passion for product and people enhancement by training hundreds of property management professionals in the NALP and CAM certification courses and has authored her own courses covering Marketing, Customer Service, Financial Analysis, Personnel Management, and Leasing Techniques. Working with small or large clients, the same efficient, smart, and creative service is applied to every assignment. Cary has been a valuable member of the SHB Consulting team since 2006 and has helped to build the services and reputation of SHB Consulting in the multi-family industry.
